Work Nicer is a co-working space that focuses on bringing individuals together into a common work space. The design goal was to integrate collaborative open work spaces with private offices. Working within the confines of the existing floor plate and shafts private offices were pushed to the perimeter while a central object was created to host the elevator shaft, phone rooms, resource space and meeting rooms. The intermediary space, was infilled with seating, hot desks and tables to act as the communal work space that is central to the philosophy of the client.

Through this spatial organization, individuals are encouraged to interact with others as they go about their work day, strengthening the bond and sense of family that is integral to Work Nicer.
