This project arose from the necessity for Engineered Air to relocate a portion of their existing production facility to a new location. Working within a confined space with low tolerances, a 10 tonne gantry overhead crane was specially designed and built for the space. The crane feeds  massive steel rolls to an extensive cut-to-length and stacking machine.

While the result looks like a simple two machine operation is a complex and delicate balance of tight tolerances, extensive slab thickenings and isolations  in conjunction with precise equipment locations.
